Jennifer Nichols Ferguson is an experienced personal injury lawyer who is well-respected within the Maine legal community. A long-time resident of Lewiston, ME, she has been with Fales & Fales, P.A. since 1989. Jennifer’s Background
Jennifer attended college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with honors in 1978. After moving to Maine, she enrolled at the University of Maine School of Law in 1980. While in law school, Jennifer served as the Articles Editor for the University of Maine Law Review. She graduated cum laude in 1983. She was admitted to practice law in the Maine State Courts and the United States District Court for the District of Maine later that year.
Upon graduating from law school, Jennifer enjoyed the privilege of clerking for a year for the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. She subsequently entered private practice, and eventually joined Fales & Fales, P.A. Today, she owns the firm with her husband, Anthony K. Ferguson, who joined the firm in 1986.
Along with her other professional activities, Jennifer is a member of numerous associations. These include: the American Association for Justice, the Maine Trial Lawyers Association, the Androscoggin County (Maine) Bar Association, the Maine Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the City of Lewiston Historic Preservation Board. Jennifer’s past civic and professional involvement has included membership on the Central Maine Medical Center School of Nursing Board of Trustees and the Central Maine Medical Center Development Committee. She has also served as the Public Administrator for Androscoggin County.
Jennifer’s Areas of Practice
